Weekly Writing Challenge: My Strength

08 Apr

Strength (Photo credit: Hani Amir)

Though distance keeps
  us far apart
You’ll always be
  close to my heart

Be there to guide
  through thick and thin
Help to summon
  strength from within

With you I never need pretend

My strength
  My rock
    My truth
      My friend

Written as part of this weeks
Writing Challenge(see here)
as part of NaPoWriMo
in honour of my best friend.
She is my rock
