Rome Construction Crew

11 Apr
I am now a member :)

I am now a member 🙂

Now that my mind is a little more settled – at least today anyway- I am now officially a member of Green Embers’ Rome Construction Crew (Yay!)

Don’t know what I’m talking about? Where on earth have YOU been? Living under a rock??

*Sigh* I guess I will explain then…OR I will just copy it from his page

‘Being a member of the Rome Construction Crew is about working on ourselves and to always be improving who we are.
Many people have different things they want to accomplish, write the next great novel, learn to be a master chef, helping those closest to them learn to love, finish school, get a job and many other things.
What the Rome Construction Crew is for is to help encourage YOU to accomplish YOUR goals!
Our mantra, our motto: “Rome wasn’t built in a day!”
And let me add to that, “Rome wasn’t just built by one person.”
Come join my Crew so we can help encourage and motivate each other!’

Now I don’t know about you but I sure could use some inspiration, encouragement and motivation so I’ve paid my fee (cheques sent to Comfortably Nu…. I’m joking I’m joking there is no fee) but I have sworn on my laptop and signed up.

I’m not sure how my construction crew posts are going to pan out but I’m thinking one update a week on personal achievements and new goals – along with updates on the other members (Maybe ‘motivation Mondays‘?)

So what are my goals?

I have a whole bucket list stored away of things I want to see, do or achieve; changes I want to make such as reading more, finding a job I love or just sorting my hair out. But for right now the constant ones for me are:
Finding : Finding my way (job), Finding my happiness (love & silver linings), Finding myself (passion)
Staying : Staying strong, Staying true (to myself and to others) and Staying sane (yeah right)

I will have to have a think about some less vague ones ready for next week. In the mean time make sure you check out Green Embers blog (here) and also show the other members some love (below) I am yet to do the same but I will get there…maybe that can be one of my aims for next week 😉 I have a lot of catching up to do

Always nice to be in a ‘gang’. Just a shame about how you found them! Seems like another positive B. This week is getting better for you. It is reminiscent of the fable of the tortoise and the hare; ‘Slowly and surely wins the race’. As ever, Pete. x
