Motivation Monday! Under Construction

15 Apr
I am now a member :)

I am now a member 🙂

So here is my first Rome Construction Crew post – still dont know what I’m talking about? check out Green Embers here and my first post here to find out

Long term (ongoing) goals
Status: Under construction

  • Finding my way (job) The hunt continues, I got bored and just clicked apply on a bunch of job posts so lets see if anything comes back lol
  • Finding my happiness (love & silver linings) I think I’m doing ok with the silver lining hunt – its never going to be ticked off as done because I’m always going to do it
  • Finding myself (passion) I love writing, so completing the daily challenge this week satisfied that…now if only I could find a job like that…
  • Staying strong… I’m still here so I say that’s a ‘tick’
  • Staying true (to myself and to others) The blog secret is out and I am still weighing up the pros and cons (realistically) so I’ll ‘tick’ that one too
  • Staying sane (yeah right) I’m not sure if I WANT to stay sane lol…where is the fun in that?

My goals for this week:
Status: Achievable

  • Catch up on/Check out all members of the crew and show them some love…watch out guys I’m on my waaaay 😉 There are quite a few of you so I aim to do a few a day
  • Keep up the job hunt – inc dragging myself out of bed early on Saturday (20th) to go to a local job fair *groan…cant I have a lay in pleeeease?*
  • Figure out a blogging schedule, Im struggling to find a balance between reading, writing and offline living

I was meant to start off small but with the ever-growing crew AND keeping up to date with non members I think 3 goals for this week will be enough for the first week

Don’t forget to show the members some love (listed below)

Always good to have a goal, or goals, keep busy, and keep the mind active. A job would be good though… (Because)You meet new people, find something different to blog about, and moan about too! Imagine all the new categories you could create. Trouble is, most jobs in Norfolk are minimum wage, no-hours contracts, and predominantly in care.
Let’s think about you. Likeable, artistic, good writer, poet, fun. I have a suggestion. Classroom Assistant, with a view to teaching later. It is constructive, worthwhile, and gives some expression to your creative side. And you get paid too, at least a bit of pay. What do you reckon B?
    As ever, Pete. X

Great idea; for now I’ve applied for support worker (kids with issues) and basic admin/secretarial -both with paid training and certificates etc just to get my foot back on that ladder.
Not sure if i could handle a big group of kids at a time…I would corrupt (swear/smoke/sex talk) ALL of them on day one lol BUT I will definitely look into it 🙂 xB
